Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using crest.computer and its associated services ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

crest provides agentic infrastructure for AI systems, including witnessed computation, provenance tracking, and multi-agent orchestration. The Service includes web interfaces, APIs, and related tools.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization

4. Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including prompts and any data you provide.

AI-generated outputs. You own the outputs generated by the Service in response to your inputs, subject to applicable law. crest does not claim ownership of AI-generated content produced for you.

crest's IP. The Service, its design, underlying technology, documentation, and branding are the property of crest and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to crest's intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

5. AI Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it.

crest does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated outputs for any particular purpose. The Service is provided as a tool, not as professional advice.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service routes AI inference requests to third-party model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) via OpenRouter. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers to the extent their services are used to fulfill your requests.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, crest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
